I moved away from social media but decided I still needed a place to express myself photography and even word, well... blog-wise. The issue is, I am so slow at this! I used to whip up websites for animals in the past within just a couple of hours. This time around I'm slowly focused on one small detail at a time and I feel like I'm getting no where. I decided to at least in between things to start using the blog part of it even though my punctuation skills leave much to be desired. I was sick for almost 2 weeks straight ended up having to cancel holds on two different customers and am slowly trying to pick myself back up from that as well. I have never been sick like that and for that long; I'm just so happy I can enjoy food again! I ended up losing some track in my mice litters but luckily I was able to pick back up on most of it today. Besides the mice, I have my very first goat as an adult pregnant and due NEXT week! March 28th to be exact! She herself is some cross goat. She looks like a smallish medium sized saanen goat. Her mother was a boer and now that shes well over a year old I can see the boer in her a lot better but she's very small framed her legs are even dainty like a nigerians so your guess is as good as mine to what she really is. She was bred to my pure bred naturally polled black and white myotonic buck "Boots". If I learned my genetics right its highly likely she has a kid that looks mostly like her color wise but then again something else I read stated that other colors can happen; either way, I am very excited and I hope I get to be there when she delivers.

Vanillys baby bump (she was trying to lay in my lap as usual)

I tacked way too much on my plate this spring with getting sick; that was an ordeal and it made me realize I need to cut back in some areas with my animals because I am totally fine taking care of all of my animals by myself but when I was sick it was just way too much on me. Even though I didn't at all neglect them while I was sick I'm still having to clean up after what I had to slack on. The barn needs a major clean down in the main area; I am hoping tomorrow that I'll be spunky enough to do it esp if the crazy wind stops. Trying to clean up wasted hay in the wind is a defeating chore lemmie tell ya! LOL!

My husband has been a huge support through this all once he realized how sick and overwhelmed I was he took over taking our german shepherd pup out in the mornings while I was usually in the bathroom vomiting. That one little difference was a surprisingly huge help to me. I think if you could have seen and felt how sick I was, you'd see why one little "to do" taken off my list was such a big relief. Plus side is now hubby enjoys taking him out so between the two of us he gets plenty of outside exercise time.

My plans for this website is to be able to post about my mouse breeding plans, my accomplishments with them, occasionally posting about ones for sale (plan to have a for sale /nursery page), as well as normal blogs about other projects I'm doing or other animals and general photography.

a surprise textel doeling!

Yay I did it!

So my site is finally up enough that I feel comfortable with others viewing it even though I still have a lot I want to edit and more...
